Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
This policy explains how paid plans, cancellations and refunds work on LexPilot, operated by Lexonix Private Limited (CIN U69100HR2026PTC147338) (“LexPilot”, “we”, “us”). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Trying LexPilot before you pay
You do not need a paid plan to see what LexPilot produces. Sign up free, describe a matter, attach your case papers, and LexPilot drafts it — you can read the opening of the real document at no cost. The complete draft, the export and the research features unlock with a paid plan.
Plans are purchased at the price shown on the pricing page and charged in full when you subscribe. Subscription payments are not refundable once made (see section 4); you can cancel at any time to stop future charges.
Paid trial (where offered). Some accounts are offered a short paid trial instead: a small trial fee (shown on the trial card and at checkout) buys a fixed number of days of full access, after which the plan price is charged monthly on the same UPI Autopay mandate. You can cancel at any time before the first monthly charge from your UPI app and nothing more is charged. The trial fee itself is not refundable — it is the price of the trial. We no longer run a ₹1 refundable setup trial.
2. Subscriptions and renewals
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed in advance in Indian Rupees (INR), collected through our payment provider, Paytm (for example, via UPI Autopay mandates). Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Plan prices are shown on the pricing page and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
3. Cancelling your subscription
- You can cancel at any time — no lock-in, no cancellation fee.
- To stop auto-renewal, revoke the UPI Autopay mandate for LexPilot in your UPI app (the app where you approved it, e.g. Paytm / your bank’s UPI app). Removing the mandate there stops any further debits.
- Cancellation takes effect from the next billing cycle: you keep access for the period already paid, and you are not charged again.
- Need help? Write to contact@lexpilot.in from your registered email and we will assist.
4. Refunds
- Paid trial fee. Where a paid trial is offered, the trial fee is non-refundable. Cancel before the first monthly charge and no further amount is debited; a monthly charge that follows an uncancelled trial is a subscription payment and is covered by the rules in this section.
- Subscription payments are non-refundable — you can cancel at any time (see section 3) to avoid future charges. If you believe a payment was charged in error, contact us within 7 days and we will review it in good faith.
- Duplicate, failed or erroneous charges (for example, a double debit, a charge after you cancelled, or payment captured while the Service was not provisioned) are refunded in full once verified.
- Refunds may be declined where we detect abuse (for example, repeated subscribe-refund cycles or violations of our Terms of Service).
5. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (e.g. the UPI account debited) within 5–7 business days of approval. Depending on your bank, it may take additional time for the amount to reflect in your account. We will confirm by email when a refund is initiated.
6. How to request a refund
Email contact@lexpilot.in from your registered email with: (i) the registered account email, (ii) the payment reference / UPI transaction ID, and (iii) a brief reason. We respond to refund requests within 3 business days.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version; material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Changes apply prospectively and do not affect refund requests already made.
8. Contact
