About LexPilot
What is LexPilot?
An AI legal copilot for Indian practice: research grounded in a live corpus of Supreme Court and High Court judgments, court-ready drafting, and clause-by-clause contract review — each matter kept together in its own case file.
Who is it built for?
Practising advocates, chambers and law students. The workflows mirror how a matter actually moves — research it, draft from it, review the papers, file — and law students get a 50% discount on every plan.
Is this legal advice?
No. LexPilot is research and drafting assistance for practitioners — you remain the professional on record, and every output is yours to verify and adopt.
Research & citations
Are the citations real?
Every citation is retrieved from our corpus of Supreme Court and High Court judgments, and you can open the actual judgment behind each one. We never let the AI “remember” a case.
Which courts are covered, and how fresh is it?
The Supreme Court and every High Court, with new judgments and orders flowing into the corpus every day — no training-cutoff staleness.
Does it know the new codes (BNS, BNSS, BSA)?
Yes — the new codes are carried verbatim from IndiaCode, with old ↔ new section mapping built in. Ask about IPC 420 and it maps you to the BNS equivalent, and vice versa.
Can the AI still be wrong?
Any AI can err, which is why LexPilot is built for verification: citations open the real judgment, drafts track what changed, and review findings point at the exact clause. Treat it like the sharpest junior you’ve ever had — whose work you still read.
Drafting
What can it draft?
Court-ready documents from an authored template catalog — petitions, applications, notices, replies — in the full filed format: synopsis, annexures, affidavit, court-rule layout. You can also bring your own templates.
Can I export to Word?
Yes — one click exports a .docx with real court layout (A4, margins, spacing), ready for final review and filing.
Contract review
How does contract review work?
Drop the contract, confirm which side you represent, and it reviews clause by clause against the Acts — every clause accounted for, with a separate balance read on how the terms cut for your side.
Plans, trial & credits
How do credits work?
One balance covers everything — research queries draw a little, court-ready drafts and contract reviews draw more. Plan credits refresh every month; unused monthly credits don’t carry over.
What happens when my credits run out?
Your work is never lost — everything stays in your matters. You can top up mid-cycle or simply wait for your monthly renewal to refill the pool.
How is this different from ChatGPT or Claude?
General-purpose chatbots invent case names, mix IPC with BNS, and stop at a training cutoff. LexPilot retrieves real judgments, carries BNS/BNSS/BSA verbatim with old↔new section mapping, produces filed-format documents, and its corpus grows every day.
How do I pay?
UPI Autopay from any UPI app — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or any other. Set it up once (scan the QR or tap your app) and the plan renews monthly; your UPI app notifies you before every debit, and the amount never changes unless you choose a new plan. UPI only for now — card payments are coming.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 3 days, no card required. Enough to run real research on a live matter and check the grounding for yourself.
Data & confidentiality
Where is my data stored?
In India — on secure, enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure hosted in Indian regions.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. We never use your content to train AI models, and our AI processing partners operate under enterprise terms and configurations that do not permit training on your data. We never sell your data.
Who can see my matters?
You. Every matter is private to your account — your research, drafts and reviews are visible only to you. Full details of how we handle data are in our Privacy Policy.
Account & support
Can I cancel?
Anytime, directly from your UPI app (GPay, PhonePe or Paytm) — no calls, no emails. Your access continues to the end of the period you’ve paid for.
How do I get help?
Write to contact@lexpilot.in — or use the Share feedback option inside the app. A real person reads every message.
